A bomb has just gone off

Programmed this while on Christmas holidays from Uni, which explains the exploding xmas pudding bombs! This was a clone of Dynablaster (AKA Super bomber man), but with snowmen as the players. I've got no idea what was going through my mind when I chose the name here!

In the demo below, you can drop bombs, and they do explode, but the explosions neither kill anyone, nor set off other bombs.

The xmas trees were supposed to get blown up by bombs, with presents appearinng underneath, containing power ups (more bombs, bigger bombs).

I remember being proud of the fact that the controls are quite nice in this game - you can slide around the player area very nicely. In the first version of the game you had to be lined up perfectly with the row / column you were going down, which hampered the gameplay.
